What a year!!!
Firstly, I want to apologise due to the fact that it has been a while since I last blogged. But could you blame someone whose 75% of degree is in third year??
For the first time in a long time I feel relieved. It has been a journey... what a year... so many things have happened and it feels like time has just flashed by. Assignments and exams are days in the past, even though I just finished my last examination paper 5days ago. I look around at friends, family and people that I know in general, including lecturers and work colleagues, and the main question is "What’s next..?" Job hunting? Find myself by travel? Further education..? So many questions that one does not process the achievement he/she just accomplished...! A 2:1 in Business HR is not bad after all... you got to earn the bragging rights.
I have to add that the process of completing my degree has been amazing. My experiences since I first started my journey have shaped me to become more independent and mature. I believe those two skills are simple rules to surviving life in general...then again Who AM I.
For now, I will be enjoying my time-off from studies and try to catch-up on everything I missed!!!
In God We Trust, Peace...

What’s New!!???
It’s fair to say that this year has begun fairly quickly and
things seemed to have moved from one assignment to the next. I don’t really
know where to begin….
I remember feeling that this year would be the decision
maker / or in other words what I like to call the ‘make or break’ year. So what’s neww???
Alotttt has been going on lately.
First of all, I just want to confirm that all of the extreme
stories regarding sleepless nights at the library are 100% true.
So dissertation, the experience of the project is
overwhelming. It’s something that you plan to complete from the first day you
attend the university. The independent study was useful and you learn a lot more
about yourself in terms of identifying strengths and weaknesses. In my case, time
management was something that I had to focus on in order to complete the
assignment. Overall, the experience is exhausting but rewarding in the sense of
getting to know yourself better.
Okay, you now must be thinking... Is third year thattt
difficult??
Well, I have been having fun maybe not as much as previous
years but it’s part of progressing to the next level. So what’s new??
In the middle of all the hype, one feels the need to relax,
even if it’s only for a few hours. So as a fun activity I decided to attend a
concert by “Drake” at the O2 arena in North Greenwich which is about 15 min
with public transport from the Greenwich campus… Turn upp!!!

No stress...yet...
Hi guys, I know it has been a while since my last blog.
However I have had some interesting stuff going at the same time.
First of all winter is well under-way…. with darkness
overshadowing the light…often.
So what has changed since my last blog? Alotttttt!!!!
I realised that past comments made on third year (Final
year) are actually facts. Yesss, at times you will be literally living in the
library, the only thing missing would be pillows and a blanket. Scaredd yet….
On the other hand life in general is good at Greenwich, and
future plans are getting closer and closer each day...
Social life has not changed since I first started my
programme with the university. On Wednesdays it’s activities day and that’s
where social events take place on a weekly basis throughout the 3 main
campuses. There is something somewhere somehow for everyone to take part in.

I have to mention the dissertation. Third year…10,000
words!! So far it has been a great
experience, I have not been stressing as much as I thought I would because the
university has created a new template where students have to send the draft in
early. This is to avoid students falling back and experiencing tremendous
amount of stress in final year.
Overall I’m just looking forward to Christmas and the
holidays…. To Be Continued…

My first blog!
The term has started and it feels like the first couple of weeks
have just breezed by. It’s the almost the end of October…. Meaning the sun is way
behind us. Need to adjust to the weather changes, “Not planning to have a fever
winter”. Sooo had to treat myself with a coat for the winter season!!!
Besides the weather… the actual reason why I’m here which is
“Graduation”. Well; starting to feel the big jump from 2nd year to 3rd
year. However, being a 3rd year student doesn’t happen by chance
therefore I have to stay motivated and plan things accordingly.
Talking about libraries… the
Stockwell library is currently up and running. I had the chance last week to be
there for the first time to actually do some work. To give you a brief
insight, the building has 5 floors… more open space than you can imagine. Only
problem is that it could be a pain when trying to locate books, I need to get in
the mix of things Asap!!!
It’s the weekend tomorrow and I’m free as usual… need to relax the
mind after a hard long week at assignments… the downside is… the same all over
again next week.
